MCG CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR ONSITE SERVICE

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Mahaska Communication Group (MCG) is taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our valued customers and team members. The full acknowledgment document may be viewed with the button below; the document relates to the access of MCG team members inside the premises of your homes or businesses.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING COVID-19

Dear MCG Family Members,

We truly appreciate that you have placed your trust in us to provide your communication needs. We understand the responsibility that comes with that trust. The safety and health of our communities, including our loyal customers and dedicated team members, is always of the utmost importance to us. Because of this, we want to share with you some changes effective immediately in how we will conduct ourselves to keep both you and our team members safe during the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. 

 What to expect with visits to your home:

  1. Our Customer Service Representatives will notify new install customers by phone within 24 hours of install to verify if anyone in the house has been or is currently ill. If so, our team will reschedule the installation to a later date. We kindly ask that customers call us to postpone an install or repair due to illness, even if it’s the same day.

  2. All technicians will carry hand sanitizer on their person.

  3. We will ask customers to respect a space of at least 6 feet of social distancing from our staff when on-site.

  4. If a technician feels that there is a potential medical threat, they have our backing to suspend the installation or repair for their safety.

  5. Repair technicians will only be entering your home for service outages. We’ll be happy to assist you by phone and drop off equipment outside your home for non-outage repairs.

  6. Any of our staff that becomes sick will be required to stay at home where they will continue to receive pay regardless of the extent of their illness. 

What to expect with our MCG Offices:

Our offices will be closed to all foot traffic until further notice. Our customer support team will be available to assist you by telephone.

You can continue making your payments using the drop boxes in Oskaloosa, New Sharon (located in the alley next to the Library), and the drop slot in the door of our Montezuma office. 

  1. Please include a copy of your bill with your payment in an envelope to ensure we apply your payment to the correct account. 

  2. Another option for cash payments could be to purchase a Visa gift card and then use the online payment option.

  3. Pay by phone at 844-886-9803.
