ABOUT MCG’S Affordable
Connectivity Program (ACP) BENEFIT
Through MCG’s participation in the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), you can save on your bill and may be able to get high-speed internet for free.
Our mission is to end the digital divide, and we are proud to support this effort to make broadband more affordable and accessible for all.
This program is available to both current and new MCG internet customers.
What are the program Benefits?
Service discount up to a $30/month discount on your broadband service and associated equipment rentals.
Limited to one monthly Internet service discount per eligible household.
AM I Eligible?
A household may qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program if a member of the household meets one or more of the following criteria:
QUALIFYING INCOME
Household income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
FEDERAL PELL GRANT
Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year.
SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAMS
Approved to receive benefits under free and reduced-priced school breakfast or lunch programs.
QUALIFYING VETERANS
Receive Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit Programs.
GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
Participate in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline.

ENJOY FAST INTERNET
Get ready for fast home Internet service with Wi-Fi from MCG. A credit will appear on your bill every month.
Eligible households must both apply for the program and contact a participating provider to select a service plan.
Apply Online
Visit GetInternet.gov to submit an online application.
Please note that the information used on the online application must be the EXACT same information provided back to MCG to match your eligibility.
Once you have completed your online application, print or save your approval page showing your Full Legal Name, Address, and Application ID.
Mail Your Application
Print off an application in English or Spanish. Complete the application, household worksheet, along with copies of proof of eligibility to:
